Euthamia caroliniana
Common Name :
Slender Goldentop, though not a true goldenrod, provides the same high-quality pollen and nectar to native bees into late fall, and birds love to munch on the dried seed heads. This is not an aggressive grower, so it’s easier to control in smaller areas. Attractive, small yellow flowers form flat topped clusters. This plant prefers wet soil, great for planting near ponds, swales, or culverts.
