As a business that aims to help create and sustain healthy native habitats, we strive to be as sustainable as possible. At Dragonfly Natives, we know that our customers share our concern for a healthy environment and want to join us in efforts to reduce the use of —particularly single use— plastic items. That said, we offer a few different options that allow our customers to help us and themselves to be more sustainable:

Bio-Degradable Pots

To reduce the use of plastic items, we offer our customers the choice of using bio-degradable pots for your order. Our bio-degradable pots are made from bio-based materials such as recycled newsprint, fiberboard, and sustainably sourced wood pulp. 

For just a small price difference, you can help us make an impact in a big way! If you’re planning to order plants in eco-friendly pots, please keep in mind that they need to be pre-ordered. To pre-order now, contact us and ask about using bio-degradable pots.

Return and Re-Use Program

We understand that, for one reason or another, not everyone is able to order bio-degradable pots. But that’s ok! You can still help us to be as sustainable as possible by utilizing our return and re-use program. 

After you’re finished with your order, we will take back any pots and trays you don’t need, sanitize them, and re-use them for future orders. It’s a great, easy way to help us make a difference! If you’d like to return any pots and trays for re-use, text or email us to schedule a time they can be returned. 

Please keep in mind that we will only accept trays from Dragonfly Natives that are still in relatively good condition. We will not accept returns of pots or trays that are broken or that did not originally come from Dragonfly Natives.
