Viola lanceolata
Common Name :
Lance Leaf Violet bears delicate white blooms in late spring and early summer. The lower petals have purplish veins, perhaps to serve as nectar guides for pollinators. Also called Bog White Viola because it is found in wet locations and needs consistently moist growing conditions. Its long foliage differentiates it from other viola varieties.
