Perfect for growing near ponds, streams, or in wet areas, this vigorously growing aquatic perennial grows in large clumps from spreading rhizomes. Often planted to improve water quality and provide erosion control, this variety of iris provides beautiful accent color with its blue-purple flowers veined with darker purple, and its tall (up to 30”) swordlike leaves. Draws hummingbirds and butterflies.
