This low maintenance, drought and pest resistant perennial grass offers stunning ornamental value in addition to its ecological benefits. Growing in dense clumps, its tall (2-3’) spikes grow in late summer from hair-like green foliage, and it is a great choice for Fall color interest with its golden hues. Its deep root system helps with soil erosion, and its seeds feed birds and small mammals.
