Also known as trumpet honeysuckle, this adaptable, showy, vigorously twining vine is happy to climb high (10-20 feet!) on a trellis, pergola, or fence or to spread as ground cover. Masses of tubular red/orange flowers with yellow throats appear in late spring into the summer and attract hummingbirds and butterflies. An added benefit: in late summer/early fall, the plant produces red berries that the birds love.
