A member of the mint family, Physostegia Virginiana offers quickly spreading, pale pink flowering towers (about 4’ tall) that blossom in late summer into late fall. Called Obedient Plant because the individual flowers can be moved around the stem and remain in that position, these plants are a rich source of nectar, preparing pollinators for approaching winter.
